Dylan looks for fifth win at the ice rink

Dylan Norman…exciting prospect trained by Wayne Elcock

EXCITING box-fighter Dylan Norman continues his ring education with a bout at Solihull’s Planet Ice on June 10.

Under trainer Wayne Elcock – an outstanding former pro middleweight, Norman is making steady progress.

The 22-year-old lightweight, from Knowle, has peeled off four straight wins, all on points, all over the four round apprentice distance.

He’s a level-headed, hard-working newcomer who brings the ruggedness from a tough upbringing into the ring.

This year should be significant for Dylan, with a step-up in rounds and opposition. His last two contests have been against busy journeyman Liam Richards – a man near impossible to budge over the apprentice distant.

An opponent has yet to be named for the June 10 outing.

Dylan said: “I know I’m fighting back at the ice rink in Solihull and I don’t know the opponent or distance, but I’m ready for whatever they put In front of me.

“I think this year could definitely be the year for me to take the Midlands (title) we have had talks about it.”

Norman, aggressive and determined, will take some beating when that opportunity knocks.
