Win free tickets for Solihull super show
THE countdown has begun for Tommy Owen’s mega 12 bout bill, dubbed Summer Brawl II, at Solihull’s Planet Ice.
It’s a Saturday, June 10, show packed, from top to bottom, with some of the regions most talented fighters.
The tickets are going fast, but we’ve bagged a ringside pair – that’s a prize worth over £120 – for one lucky follower of this site.
Getting your hands on the free tickets is simple. You just have to answer the question below and send it to mike_lockley@outlook.com by Wednesday, June 7, at 9.30am. Please mark your entry “Summer Brawl” and include a daytime contact.
We’ll print out the entries and first correct answer out of the bag gets the prize. And it promises to be a special night.
Here’s the question:
Coventry middleweight star River Wilson-Bent is on the Planet Ice bill. In his 18 bout career to date, how many title fights – at whatever level – has River taken part in?
Send your answers to me and the winner will receive a call on Wednesday.
The night showcases stars of the future.
As well as Wilson-Bent – an established contender, there are Birmingham’s unbeaten Coley brothers, Brad and Lewis.
One of the country’s most exciting newcomers, former outstanding amateur Niall Farrell is on the bill. The Birmingham lightweight, who enjoys a major following, will be looking for his second pro victory.
Light-heavy Musa Moyo, from Leicester, has talent to burn. Last time out, he made a mockery of the odds against him by outpointing big punching Diego Costa. He’ll be chasing his sixth straight pro win on the show.
Nuneaton’s Ashlee Eales has emerged as a real KO artist in the light-middle division. Currently 7-0, he’ll be looking to ice another opponent at the ice rink.
Birmingham junior-lightweight Sam Pikire dubs himself “Big Ego” – and is living up to the billing. On Saturday, fans will see why he’s predicting a glorious future for himself.
Add to the list former top Welsh amateur Lewis Howells, the slam-bang power of Wolverhampton heavy Hosea Stewart, the skills of Gloucester’s former top amateur Shabir Haidary.
The list of top boxers goes on and on….
It’s a must night for fans. And two will be attending free of charge, thanks to fightcity.uk and promoter Tommy Owens.
The heat is about to be dramatically turned-up at Planet Ice. Be a part of the drama.
