Fight City: with the fans, for the fans!

Fight City: June saw a blaze of interest in the site

IT’S time to thank you – the fighters, trainers and fans – for making fightcity.uk such a phenomenal success.

The site, launched in February, has grown at a pace I’m still struggling to comprehend. With each week, the audience, currently standing at over 65,000, gets bigger and bigger. It is being read in 76 countries.

These are staggering statistics.

And fightcity.uk isn’t only flexing its muscle on-line. It now has its own page in the Birmingham Mail, Coventry Telegraph and Sunday Mercury. This week, a first fightcity.uk report appeared in trade magazine Boxing News.

June proved the best month yet for fightcity.uk. The glittering Midlands boxing awards, a host of local shows and a string of “exclusives” meant the season ended with an explosion of new visitors.

That’s thanks, in no small part, to the boxers and backroom staff who have rung with stories. Please keep the calls coming – 01746 783 533.

In a short space of time, fightcity.uk has become a vital part of the Midlands’ boxing landscape. It is the place for those involved in the sport to get their message across. It is the place for fans to receive the inside story.

The growth continues. This week, the site launched on twitter - @FightCityUK, which has brought in even more visitors.

Fightcity.uk has proved a knockout – and that’s down to you. It will only get stronger and pack an even bigger punch.

It is the independent site for the fans and fighters, with the fans and fighters.
